A.Rajendran at present is working as a senior lecturer in visual communication department, government college of fine arts, chennai.
A.Rajendran did his B.Sc(Visual communication design) in 1980-1985 from goverment college of fine arts, chennai and attained first class.
he did his M.F.A (VisualCommunication Design) during the year 1998-2000 and attained 1st class from govt.collage of fine arts, chennai-600 003,
, university of madras. A.rajendran also completed a project study at madras Advertising company, 862, AnnaSalai,chennai-2.

Artist A.rajendran has participated in many art exhibitions in india and abroad. Some of the exhibitions are mentioned are mentioned below,

held at LalitKala Akademy in january 2006, Hotel Ambassador Pallava in Agust 2006 and October 2007. he took part in art camps held at Jawahathu Hills camp in november 2005
and in the Alumini Camp Collage of fine Arts Chennai in 2006. he has attended a refresher course at june care of museum Objects at Government Egmore Museum in the year 1997.
A.Rajendran who is now working as a senior
lecturer in V.C.D Dept. Goverment College of fine Arts, is holding an exhibition of his paintings titled Rural Folksy at Hotel Ambassador Pallava, Egmore till 30th December 2010.
the Exhibition is on view from 9.30am to 7.30pm on all days.

A.Rajendran is the member of Advertising Club Madras Carex Center, 2nd Floor, 713, AnnaSalai Chennai-6. He is also an External Examiner for University of madras, Pondichery University.
